My first session as an Officer at EYPE.
I have no words to describe the experience.
I can only say that EYP is going to get tired of seeing me.
Although I have to admit that I entered the session a little later than I should have, I also know that I have given my 120% to do my best work.
For the first time I was part of the official team as a Media Team Member, basically, I was the person behind the camera.
EYPE asks you to deliver a project as a sample of your work in the session, and you can develop it in the way that best suits you. It can be a physical or digital project, related to photography, video… you can use any format you want and the theme is also your own choice. These projects are consulted with the editor of the session, and this is the person in charge of monitoring them and collaborating when necessary.
But… being the way I am, one project was not enough for me. I’m usually very motivated in projects, even more so in a project like this one that brings together two of my passions, politics and photography. Add to that the fact that it was the first time I worked in this position and that it was in my city… I couldn’t have been more motivated.
The result of all that energy was reflected in a video and editing related project entitled: «What is EYP?». It taught what’s behind a session, all its participants and also served as a tribute to two of the officers who had decided that it would be their last session. Although this was the project that took me the most time, I also dedicated myself to make the instagram stories of all the activities that took place throughout the session. At the same time, I took the pictures of my committees, the teambiulding games and the officials at work. Finally, each day of the session I recorded several videos with which I then made a reel format montage, so now, every time I want to remember that experience I can go to my profile and see the best moments of it.
I would especially like to thank Alonso Ciscar for trusting me and allowing me to be part of this experience, and also to the wonderful people who have made this session, a great session.
